Tactical Breach Wizards Confidence System Guide
The Confidence system is one of Tactical Breach Wizards' most unique features. It provides optional objectives for each mission room that reward bonus XP and encourage creative problem-solving.
What is Confidence?
Confidence Goals are optional objectives displayed before each combat room. They challenge you to complete the room under specific constraints — like finishing within a certain number of turns, defenestrating enemies, or using specific abilities.
Completing Confidence Goals rewards bonus XP for the character specified in the goal. This is the primary way to level up characters and unlock perk points faster.
How to Get Confidence
- ▸ Read Goals First: Always check Confidence Goals before acting. They tell you what the puzzle wants.
- ▸ Per-Character: Each goal is tied to a specific character, earning that character bonus XP.
- ▸ Optional: You don't need to complete them to progress — but the XP is very valuable.
- ▸ Rewind Friendly: Use the rewind mechanic to experiment until you find a solution that meets all goals.
- ▸ Stackable: You can complete multiple goals in the same room simultaneously.

Tips for Completing All Confidence Goals
- 1. Read all goals for a room before making any moves.
- 2. Identify which goals conflict and which can be done simultaneously.
- 3. Use Rewind constantly — there's no penalty for experimenting.
- 4. Some goals guide you toward the "intended" solution for the puzzle.
- 5. If stuck, focus on the hardest goal first and build your plan around it.
- 6. You can replay missions later to complete missed goals.
